No. SteadFolio is an educational tool. Sofia never tells you what to buy, sell, or when to do it. Everything inside is designed to help you understand how investing works so that you can make your own informed decisions.
Yes. You can start for free, with no credit card. The Academy, Sofia (up to 10 messages a day), portfolio tracking with Portfolio Audit and XIRR, the simulators and Paper Trading are all included today. There's no requirement to connect a brokerage account or deposit any money. SteadFolio+ is a planned paid tier that is still being built; it isn't available yet and no payments are active.
Free today: the full Academy and assessments, Sofia (10 messages a day), unlimited manual portfolio holdings, one financial goal, Portfolio Audit, XIRR, What-If analysis, the DCA and Portfolio simulators, Paper Trading, the Budget Calculator and two historical scenarios (2008 and COVID-19). SteadFolio+ is a planned paid tier focused on automation, deeper portfolio insight and ongoing monitoring. It isn't available yet and pricing hasn't been announced. A dedicated space inside SteadFolio for when markets drop and fear kicks in. Instead of doom-scrolling headlines, you get calm, factual, historical context to help you think clearly.
SteadFolio is available in English and Greek, with an easy toggle between the two right from the login screen and throughout the app.
Trust and safety
No, never. SteadFolio doesn't recommend specific securities, funds, or products. The tools inside - like the ETF evaluator and DCA simulator - are designed to teach you how to evaluate things yourself.
SteadFolio runs on established infrastructure providers for hosting, database and authentication (the Privacy Policy lists them). Your password is stored securely and never in plain text, and connections to the site use HTTPS. We don't sell your personal data and don't use advertising trackers; optional analytics on this website only load after you consent. SteadFolio doesn't currently connect to broker accounts or take payments. No system is perfectly secure; see the Privacy Policy for the full detail.
No. Sofia doesn't recommend any specific asset, coin, or stock - crypto included. The goal is always to help you understand how to evaluate something yourself, not to point you toward a specific pick.
