Your Journey

From complete beginner to confident long-term investor - here's exactly how.

Not a feature list. A real path, step by step - what happens the day you sign up, and what happens six months later.

Getting Started

A short conversation, not a form

You sign up, and Sofia asks a few quick questions - your experience level, your goal, your time horizon, your comfort with risk. No jargon, no long questionnaire before you see any value.

Right after, a short, interactive welcome happens inside the chat itself - not a static tour. Sofia shows you the 2-3 things that matter most, in plain language, then gives you one clear first step. Not a menu of options to figure out on your own - usually, your first lesson in the Academy.

2
Learn

Building the foundation

12 structured tracks, from Foundations to Advanced, each ending in a short quiz. Sofia remembers which tracks you've completed - and quietly tracks which topics you got wrong, not to judge you, but to adjust how she explains things later.

The connection The moment you finish a track, Sofia recommends one specific, relevant next step - not a generic "keep learning." Finish the Bonds track, and she points you to the ETF Evaluator, filtered to bond ETFs. Finish "Getting Started in Practice," and she points you to Paper Trading.
3
Practice

Real prices, zero real risk

Four practice tools, all using real market data, none of it with real money on the line:

  • ETF Evaluator - compare ETFs on cost, historical performance, and geographic exposure, with an explicit warning if something overlaps with what you already hold.
  • DCA Simulator - visualize systematic investing using real historical data.
  • Portfolio Simulator - model a full allocation strategy before committing to one.
  • Historical Scenarios / Panic Mode - step into the decision seat during real historical events (2008, COVID-19, the dot-com crash), see what actually happened, and let Sofia walk you through the behavioral side of it - why panic-selling usually hurts more than the drop itself.
  • Paper Trading - €10,000 in virtual money, real prices, with an explicit nudge toward holding positions rather than quick in-and-out trades. Not a trading simulator - practice for long-term thinking.
The connection When a paper position does well, a button appears: "This worked out - add it to your real portfolio." One click carries the symbol straight into your real Tracker.

Apply

Your actual portfolio

This is where practice turns into your real financial life:

  • My Portfolio - real ETFs and stocks, added manually or via broker connection (SteadFolio+).
  • A real goal (My Status) - a name, an amount, a time horizon.
  • Budget Calculator - what you can realistically invest each month.
  • Watchlist - track things without committing to them yet.
The connection If you've used the practice tools a fair amount but still don't have a real goal set up, Sofia mentions it - gently, on your next visit.

Reflect

Sofia checks in, so you don't have to go looking

Sofia speaks first when you come back (at most once a day), and picks whichever of these is actually most relevant right now:

  • You haven't done your goal's monthly check-in yet
  • Your portfolio has shifted meaningfully since your last visit
  • You have a DCA plan but haven't looked at it in weeks
  • You've done a lot of practice - maybe it's time for a real goal
  • One holding has grown into an outsized share of your portfolio (concentration risk) - always explained educationally, never as "sell this"

Beyond that: My Progress (streak, level per topic), Portfolio Audit (full diversification analysis), and What-If (what would have happened if you'd invested elsewhere instead).

What-If analysis comparing a real portfolio's actual result against benchmark indices like a Global Index ETF and the S&P 500

Repeat

The loop continues - and deepens

Every reflection point can lead back into Learn (a new lesson), Practice (a new scenario), or Apply (a new goal, a new position). It's not a straight line - it's a spiral that keeps returning and going a little deeper each time.

What builds up behind the scenes

  • Your experience level and goals, from onboarding
  • Completed lessons - and which topics could still use review
  • Your real portfolio and your real goal
  • Which tools you've used, and how recently

This isn't a chatbot that answers questions. It's a companion that remembers - without ever giving you personal investment advice. Educational, not advisory, the whole way through.

Worth being clear about
